At IDID, every project is a chance to build lasting connections. We team up with partners who share our passion for enhancing your spaces, bridging the public and private sectors. This fosters enriching collaborations and a wealth of knowledge.
Our project philosophy revolves around four core values: socio-cultural, experiential, building-technical, and economical. These values work in harmony, guiding our all-encompassing approach. They ensure each project becomes a masterpiece, seamlessly blending beauty with structural integrity and cost-effectiveness.
We’re not just designers; we’re storytellers. We craft spaces that narrate your unique stories, creating unforgettable experiences. At IDID, innovation knows no bounds, and our commitment to excellence shines through in every project. Welcome to a world where your ideas are our canvas for sculpting living art.
IDID was founded by Wynn Neo and David Tan who hail from different backgrounds. Wynn studied interior Design and has 20 years of experience in the field while David worked as a commercial pilot. His interest in interior design stems from his family’s carpentry business, Teck Lee Carpenters. They joined forces and made bespoke living possible through IDID.
A space that is an extension of the people using or living in it. It must contain elements of individuality that you will not find elsewhere, elements that should be unique to the people who call the space their home.
We believe that very design must have a purpose. Great design is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also communicates obvious function. A timeless masterpiece that influences the way people use space.
We believe the little details, whether in terms of aesthetics or functionality are what makes the difference. Hence the name of our firm, which is the acronym for Ideas Defined in Details.
We design with love and passion. We believe that only with this spirit in mind can we create dream homes for our clients. We ensure that ample time is spent on fully understanding the customer’s needs and wants before the project begins. Similarly, we allow homeowners to fully understand our proposed choice of materials and design before actual work commences.
“A good design has to consider the character, daily habits and lifestyle of its user. We must also project into the future and be able to cater to the changes that might come in the next five to ten years.”
